Install it. Sign in. Then forget about it.
There is no folder picking, no schedule, no “sync now” button. FotoSafe finds your photos the way you would, only faster, and keeps watching for new ones.

Before anything uploads, FotoSafe measures four things. Good photos go straight to your backup. Doubtful ones are held, never deleted, so you decide.

People
Name the people. Only if you want. 100% private. AI on your device. Not in the cloud.
Name a face and FotoSafe can find that person in the photos already backed up. Suggestions wait for a yes or a no. The search stays off until you turn recognition on, and “delete all face data” removes the names, the boxes, and the fingerprints from this computer and from the backup.

Browse by the day a photo was taken, or search for a person. The detail of one picture shows the name, the camera, and a short quality report: focus, shake, exposure, and whether a face was cut off.

Our storage provider runs data centers in Luxembourg, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium and Canada. FotoSafe keeps your backup in its Amsterdam data center, and every upload and download travels over an encrypted connection.
FotoSafe does not sell your photos or use them to train a model for anyone else.
